Savings could be large on insurance costs.
Wind Mitigation Inspections are a Florida state standard form that tells home insurance underwriters what type of wind mitigating materials your home is constructed with. The wind mitigation inspection is a standard form. The form is made up of seven questions and each question asks what type of wind mitigating material the home has.
4 Point Inspections are insurance specific inspections as well. However, these inspections are designed to tell insurance companies the general working condition of the main four points of the home. Those four points are: the roof, electrical system, HVAC, and plumbing system. Four-point inspections are generally required by insurance companies on new policies for homes older than 25 years. Some insurance companies may require four-point inspections as soon as a home reaches 5 years old though. If a four point reveals issues about the working condition of any system, the reported issue will more than likely have to be fixed/repaired.
Large corporations, real estate investment trusts, and individual investors purchase commercial real estate. A commercial building inspection is a critical step in the purchase process. A building inspection is a process that determines whether or not an organization is in compliance with specific laws and regulations. Equipment, machinery, physical infrastructure and maintenance processes are all examples of things within a building that require regular checkups to ensure safety and compliance.
Mold can cause many health effects. For some people, mold can cause a stuffy nose, sore throat, coughing or wheezing, burning eyes, or skin rash. People with asthma or who are allergic to mold may have severe reactions. Immune-compromised people and people with chronic lung disease may get infections in their lungs from mold. There is always some mold around. Molds have been on the Earth for millions of years. Mold can get in your home through open doors, windows, vents, and heating and air conditioning systems. Mold in the air outside can be brought indoors on clothing, shoes, bags, and even pets. Mold will grow where there is moisture, such as around leaks in roofs, windows, or pipes, or where there has been a flood. Mold grows on paper, cardboard, ceiling tiles, and wood. Mold can also grow in dust, paints, wallpaper, insulation, drywall, carpet, fabric, and upholstery. Ask me about doing an air sampling today.
If you want to buy a house with a pool, you’ll need to get a swimming pool inspection. Here’s why. You’re walking up to your future home and a pool catches your eye. That’s great! Right? Who doesn’t want to spend their days lounging in their own pool? But wait right there. If you’re thinking about buying a home with a pool, you need to get that pool inspected. Between repairs, regulations, and more, an inspection could save your bank account. When it comes to a swimming pool inspection, it’s better safe than sorry. First, most municipalities require your pool to have a fence. Those same regulations usually specify things like fence height, construction materials, gate regulations, and more. Without a professional inspection, it’s very easy to overlook common regulations. People frequently get tripped up on regulations like locks on all windows with access to the pool. Running afoul of the local regulations is an excellent way to earn expensive fines.
